Internal Communications Manager | Marketing & Communications | Core Operations

The Internal Communications team creates and implements communications strategies to engage employees with FTI Consulting's growth ambitions, business strategy and key initiatives. The team is part of the wider Corporate Communications function, within FTI Consulting's Marketing and Communications division, working with colleagues across PR, Social Media, Corporate Citizenship and Employer Brand, among others, to create compelling content and assets for internal audiences.

The EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Internal Communications Manager will manage the day-to-day components of FTI Consulting's internal communications program for the EMEA region. The manager will work closely with the Director of Global Internal Communications to develop communications strategies and campaigns and work to engage employees across geographies, business functions and levels through the creation of messaging, content and assets. The manager has strong project management skills, is an excellent writer and has a strong track record of working across functions to drive the delivery of communications initiatives. This role will be responsible for partnering with functional departments to develop and deliver internal communications plans for key projects and initiatives and act as project manager, taking projects from inception through delivery.

What You'll Do

• Partner closely and collaborate with Human Resources, IT, Ethics & Compliance, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging and other internal teams in EMEA to create communications plans, messaging and assets to inform FTI employees and generate awareness, alignment and engagement


• Oversee and create written internal communications such as email announcements to all EMEA employees on, for example, Strategy, Business Development, Corporate Citizenship, HR, ITG, Procurement, Finance and Legal matters


• Oversee and manage the creation and delivery of EMEA internal communications channels such as the intranet, regional newsletter, all hands meetings and video


• Working with the Global Internal Communications Director, plan and develop communications for EMEA leadership, including, but not limited to announcements, meeting materials and video


• Partner closely with the Director of Global Internal Communications and the Global Internal Communications Manager to implement and amplify global internal communications strategies and messages in EMEA, for example FTI Awards, success stories, promotion of global brand campaigns


• Partner closely with the Director of Global Internal Communications and the Global Communications Manager to identify new and innovative ways to communicate to strengthen employees' internal communications experience within EMEA


• Oversee the management of the EMEA communications editorial calendar and activity plan


• Create and manage clear processes for teams to follow that supports the Internal Communications function to manage scope while impacting clear and consistent communications practice broadly across FTI


• Work with internal stakeholders on storytelling that brings to life and celebrates our employees' expertise, experience of working at FTI Consulting and case studies. Create engaging and innovative ways to communicate these stories across the organisation


• Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of the communications strategy in EMEA and to make data-driven recommendations for ongoing improvement


• Oversee the management of strategic EMEA intranet content and coach intranet page owners in communications best practice.

Basic Qualifications (or equivalent)


• Bachelor's degree of equivalent experience


• Several years of corporate communications experience


• Experience using marketing automation tools (such as Eloqua)


• Demonstrated experience working with SharePoint Online from front end user experience ("UX") to back-end site and content management


• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).


Preferred Qualifications (or equivalent)


• Knowledge of document and image design, and experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus


• Professional services experience would be advantageous.
