Full Job Description

To co-ordinate and oversee all clerical functions in the Pharmacy Procurement and Homecare service.
To assist with all Pharmacy computer system administration and support.
The work will be carried out observing public sector payment targets resolving invoices within agreed financial limits.
These can be summarised according to the schedule with the post holder taking responsibility for organising and prioritising own workload, meeting agreed deadlines and ensuring that others in the Procurement Office are enabled to do the same., Process Homecare transactions, ensuring they are completed before month end.
First line of contact for all enquiries regarding invoices.
Word processing using Word together with Excel to produce quality documentation including spreadsheet format presentations.
To respond to requests for 'Crystal' financial and usage reports under the supervision of the Procurement & System Manager
To book in prescriptions on the prescription tracking system and conduct all relevant checks relating to funding such as Blueteq, ICE and Cerner.
Place orders with suppliers for requested prescriptions whilst working with pharmacists.
