Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as an Internal Sales/Admin Assistant.

This role primarily focuses on providing administrative support to the sales department while also assisting with internal sales tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of our sales team and the overall growth of the company.,

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including creating quotations, converting orders and maintaining customers records.

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales-related documents, such as proposals, quotations, and sales reports, together with purchasing.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and relevant data in the company's CRM system.

  • Handle incoming calls and emails, addressing customer enquiries and passing to the relevant team member.

  • Serving customers on our trade counter and handling their enquiries. Completing transactions where possible.

  • Support the sales team with order processing, invoicing, and tracking of shipments.

  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

  • Provide general administrative support to the sales department, including filing, and data entry.

    All Applicants Must Have - previous experience in a stores or parts environment such as a Motor/Tool Factor or similar industry and be familiar with Product Codes and part numbers., Minimum of a grade 4 in GCSE with at least English and a high standard of maths.

  • Proven experience in an administrative or sales support role.

  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite (Word, Excel) and CRM software.

  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Basic understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.

  • Familiarity with the industry or similar such as Motor Factor is desirable.
