Full Job Description

  • Identify, qualify, nurture and follow up on own opportunities.
  • Build relationships via email and phone to generate own appointments, leads and manage pipeline.
  • Comfortable in discussing and influencing decision makers over the telephone about their business marketing issues and operations.
  • Use Emarsys products to demonstrate our product capabilities to potential clients via web access.
  • Consistently and regularly use salesforce.com to provide timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of activity.
  • Follow the established sales process.
  • Appropriately engage management and staff in the sales cycle and provide on-going feedback to other areas of the organisation.

    Up to two (2) years in a similar role with a successful track record in which the candidate met or exceeded quota-measured in calls/day, appointments/week, qualification of opportunities, etc.
  • Experience in a selling environment focused on SaaS with a significant volume of outbound activity.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Willingness to learn and succeed in a high-earning software sales environment.
  • Recent experience in software technology, email, marketing automation, business intelligence, CRM software a plus.
  • Technical ability to understand overall presentations, demo, competitive differentiation and answer the standard initial questions.
  • Must have a strong desire to keep up-to-date on technology trends, developments & best practices.
  • Must have a high level of energy with a very positive phone demeanour.
  • Good general understanding of business processes.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
