Full Job Description

Deliver and evaluate SIA training in security officer, door supervisor and CCTV disciplines to the business

-Work with the Learning support team to deliver training in line with business requirements

-Complete all course related admin accurately after each course

-Ensure all security training meets regulatory and QA standards where required

-Ensure all training is delivered in an engaging and professional manner

-Maintain continuous CPD requirements

-Be an ambassador for the Mitie security's vision and values and ensure they are embedded into all training interventions

Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification or higher

-Conflict management trainer certificate

-Physical intervention trainer certificate

-Current Security Officer, Door Supervisor, CCTV qualifications

-Current First Aid /Assessor qualification

-Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

-Experience in delivering both face-to-face and blended learning approaches

-Resilient, adaptable, and flexible

-Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to delivery

-Excellent planning, diary management and time management skills

-Strives for excellence and is passionate about own personal and professional development

-Willing to travel and work outside home region as required

What are we looking for?We are looking for a trainer that is qualified to delivery SIA training courses to join our team of trainers. The role is mainly regional based covering North of Crewe and Lincoln, South of Scotland and requires some flexibility for areas of travel.
