It also means we can solve problems as soon as they arise, build trust, and get closer to our colleagues., As an International Assistant Merchandiser your role is key to support the team with accurate stock management & availability. Placing product volume buys, managing line cards and WSSI, in season promo and markdown planning and exit trading decisions for the BU. Working collaboratively as a team and with key stakeholders in online, trading and logistics teams to ensure the optimal ranges deliver sustainable sales & profit growth in our European markets.

  • Support in the delivery of key international goals & objectives for your product areas across EU Online and Marketplace Partners e.g. planned intake, sales and operating profit
  • Use relevant data and insight to create financial building blocks for futures seasons, under the guidance of a Merchandiser
  • Demonstrate a strong commercial acumen, understanding the EU competitor clothing brands
  • Contribute to the seasonal planning and product strategy using current trend data and lessons learnt findings by channel
  • Using the WSSI to manage stock levels for your ranges in-season, proposing clear mitigation plans for sale or promotional activity if required
  • Collaborate with Logistics to manage intake exceptions, risk to launch dates and have an awareness of fulfilment plans
  • Take accountability to identify risk and opportunity within your BU/Depts using all data.

    Strong numerical, analytical, and interpretive skills
  • Be confident to present in trade meetings to peers and leadership team
  • Communication, influencing, and organisational skills
  • Actively demonstrating curiosity and initiative, have enthusiastic attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Ability to initiate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Confident with Excel and PowerPoint (Advanced Excel user)
  • Able to fully utilise relevant IT systems e.g. Power BI.
