International Finance, Associate

Working closely with teams globally including Blackstone's US finance team and Centre of Excellence ("COE") in India, they will be responsible for:

• Fund accounting and administration: working directly with internal and external teams to strike monthly NAVs and validate corporate level activity, including but not limited to, monthly subscription and redemption activity, distributions, promote calculations, management fee calculations, NAV allocations, liquidity forecasting and corporate G&A
• Liquidity Management / Investor transactions: actively monitoring the liquidity of the entire fund structure including supporting treasury operations for monthly investor subscriptions, redemptions and distributions; liaising with stakeholders to ensure sufficient cash is available when and where required
• Preparation of statutory financial statements under IFRS, audit packs and supporting the external/internal audit process
• Preparing quarterly and ad hoc financial regulatory returns to financial regulatory bodies including the CSSF
• Enhancing management information through various means, including trend analyses and monthly commentary on the ongoing activities of the relevant entities
• Assisting Blackstone's central Finance team in New York on any queries in relation to group quarterly and annual reporting
• Assisting in the preparation of information for board meetings
• Ensuring a robust control environment for all financial reporting

• Degree qualified, Chartered Accountant (preferably with Big 4 background) with 2+ years post qualification experience or ACCA / CIMA with equivalent experience gained in industry, preferably in financial services
• Strong technical accounting skills, with knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS preferred
• Working knowledge of accounting applications such as Investran an advantage
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail and consistently and proactively delivers accurate, high quality work
• Highly organised, goal oriented, and solutions focused with a focus on continuous improvement
• Demonstrates ownership and accountability, manages work independently and knows when to escalate matters
• Works collaboratively across the team, contributing to a dynamic and inclusive team environment
