Full Job Description

As a part-time International Liaison Officer (22.5 hours per week), you will be an integral part of our patient-facing Appointments and Enquiries team, playing a key role in supporting our international patients. You'll guide patients in selecting and booking consultations with our top Consultants and provide essential information about self-pay diagnostic services and treatment costs. Acting as the primary point of contact for international enquiries, you'll ensure a seamless, empathetic, and professional experience for every patient. Role Duties:

  • Assist Embassy clients and international patients with enquiries to ensure they are directed to the most suitable Consultant or service at KEVII.
  • Book appointments or connect patients with relevant medical secretaries to guarantee a smooth and timely scheduling process.
  • Develop and manage interpreter and chaperone services to provide essential support for international patients.
  • Provide accurate pricing for self-pay services to help international patients make informed decisions about their care.
  • Generate and report data to track international patient engagement, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Establish payment systems for international admissions to ensure all necessary approvals, including insurance authorizations, are in place.
  • Support ad-hoc projects to contribute to the Commercial Team and overall business success

    Master's, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Interpreting, Translation, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or liaison role, ideally in healthcare or international settings.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle sensitive medical information confidentially.
  • Relevant qualifications in interpretation (e.g., National Register of Public Service Interpreters) are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is an advantage.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate cultural nuances and engage with patients from diverse backgrounds., The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and culturally aware professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will have strong experience in customer service or liaison roles, with the ability to communicate empathetically and effectively with international patients.
