Full Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide general administrative support to the International L&D team, assist the Senior Director and play an integral role in coordinating global projects across our International markets. In addition to following McDonald's policies and procedures, this position carries the authority to perform the principal accountabilities outlined below and any additional tasks required by the Company or your Manager for which you are deemed competent.

  • Establish strong working relationships within Global L&D, as well as with International Markets, Market Learning Leads and other departments
  • Produce and maintain International Market reporting processes in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate, diarise and manage agendas and notes for Team meetings and events
  • Create and virtually share materials for various meetings and events
  • Diary management for the Senior Director
  • Build strong working relationships with external vendors, manage training requests and budgets
  • Manage monthly news and celebrations across the International Markets
  • Coordinate and maintain staff lists, distribution lists and groups
  • Maintain L&D guides that have been created for the International Markets
  • Provide general administrative support including travel and accommodation, monitor expenditure, processing expense claims etc
  • Collect Market data where required through Smartsheet or other platforms
  • Provide support on ongoing global projects
  • Coordinate Training schedules and courses across multiple markets
  • What Team will I be a part? The successful candidate will be a valuable part of the International Markets L&D Team. This team is responsible for supporting the L&D function in all our McDonald's International markets. The team works with Learning Leads in each market as well as representing the markets in the broader Global L&D COE team. Who are my customers? The core customers for the team are our markets. We work with almost 100 markets globally. Other key customers include the Global L&D COE and other COEs within the Global People team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Comfort in working in virtual meetings and in person
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Previous experience in administration / coordination
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Disciplined approach to meet set deadlines
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Some degree of flexibility in working hours as we operate across several time zones
  • Strong focus on customer service and support
  • High degree of initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working in a team environment and with multiple stakeholders
