Full Job Description

This is an exciting new role that will help grow the ATI's presence globally, identifying and building strategic partnerships with key overseas partners. This will involve understanding evolving market positions and the technologies critical to the decarbonisation of flight. Supporting delivery of the ATI Engagement Strategy and International Plan, you will work within the External Relations team and regularly across ATI teams to shape and facilitate international policy with UK Government and international bodies. Key objectives and responsibilities:

  • Support the development and delivery of the ATI international strategy. Take ownership of identified relationships and deliverables, working across the ATI to deliver them.
  • Produce insightful market analysis to help shape the ATI international plan. Conduct analysis of national policies, international technology programmes, overseas funding programmes and stakeholder strategies within identified markets to shape ATI engagement and future projects.
  • Build and grow relationships with key stakeholders in nations that support the ATI's ambitions to decarbonise the aerospace sector.
  • Run the ATIs International Advisory Group. Provide effective administration including organising meetings and shaping agenda topics. Drive strategic direction of the group.
  • Develop and plan a series of activities with key stakeholders aligned with furthering the ATI Business Plan.
  • Support the ATI's role on international committees, providing briefings, presenting and ensuring ATI is able to provide independence advice and value into the discussion.
  • Provide ATI thought leadership content and messaging designed to inform and enable action. Work with the wider team to determine the appropriate messaging format.
  • This role reports into the ATI Senior Manager, International Relations but works closely with other ATI Teams, Innovate UK and UK Government. The Candidate The candidate will be passionate about the decarbonisation of flight and excited by the opportunity to help influence and grow the UK's role on the global stage. Above all you will be proactive and willing to engage in a variety of tasks.
