Full Job Description
This opportunity is available for current International Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. Students are required to self-film video content to showcase their placement activities and discuss employability opportunities during their studies and how it supports their future careers. You will film three videos during key dates at your placement, showing your placement location, what you do, and how your classes/studies and the career services at Man Met have prepared you for the placements. You should also discuss employability opportunities at Manchester Met and how it supported your study and career aspiration. The aim of the content is to: - To capture your experience studying at Manchester Met, how your education here has enhanced your career and the type of placements that you currently do. - To inspire future international students to study their subject at Manchester Met and be impressed by the employability opportunities available during their studies. In addition to the videos, we may ask you to write a testimonial detailing your experience as an international student. We will also ask for an accompanying photo for the testimonial. The video, written testimonials and photography will be used to promote Manchester Met to prospective students, and they may be used on Manchester Met websites, social media, email communications, and third-party advertising as well as printed materials such as prospectuses, course brochures and other promotional materials. Times: You will be required to provide 3 videos, each video will be between 30 seconds-2 minutes long and will take approximately 4 hours to produce, totalling 12 working hours. We will provide a 30 minute online briefing meeting to explain the requirements of the content in detail. Briefing Date: Thursday 5 December 2024
