Full Job Description

35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm but additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. Our approach to hybrid working allows for up to 40% of time working from home and 60% working in the office, please contact a member of the recruitment team to discuss further., The chosen candidate will join the International Trade and Investment team, to provide support for servicing the practice's clients. Working with the Partners and wider team, the chosen candidate will develop their knowledge conducting legal research and assisting with document review.,

  • Assist with project work for the firm
  • Assist with document review and due diligence
  • Draft, check and amend legal documents
  • Liaise with internal and external counsel, within the UK and globally
  • Write concise memoranda to summarize research results
  • Maintain document, transcript, and work product databases
  • Conduct legal research
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Specific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location or services. All members of the firm participate in our Responsible Business program

    The Candidate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Displays a working knowledge and understanding of relevant legal principles;
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to locate specific items on the internet;
  • Has an enthusiasm and willingness to work as part of a team and demonstrates flexibility with assigned tasks;
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with or without direct supervision and coordinate multiple projects; and
  • Flexibility for additional hours as needed.
  • Qualifications and Training
  • 6 months plus of paralegal experience in a law firm or equivalent;
  • Fluent French language skills;
  • Law degree or equivalent qualification is essential; and
  • LPC qualified is preferred but candidates with extensive paralegal experience will also be considered.
