Internship - Criminal Law - Crowd Court Litigator

Our busy Criminal Law team covering both Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire is growing fast and now needs additional support with Crowd Court litigation. Working alongside our acknowledged specialist lawyers, the successful applicant will have a passion for Criminal law and should also be familiar with Criminal law procedures and/or related protocols. The role will involve some administrative support, which calls for well-developed IT skills and a knowledge of MS packages.

You should be a law student, with the kind of positive attitude and proven ability that will make your contribution valuable from day 1.

Duties will include:

• reviewing and understanding the client files


• attending court with Counsel to take notes with view to preparing internal reports


• supporting clients at the Crowd Court, ensuring they are aware of logistics for their hearing


• obtaining instructions from clients
