Inventory Clerk

The Inventory & WIP counter primary function is to assist the Finance Department in the control and analysis of inventory levels on a daily basis., To control and ensure adherence to the site Perpetual Inventory (PI) programme, by performing daily count cycles on company inventory and subsequent discrepancy investigation.

To physically count stock in various locations around site to ensure accuracy and that actual stock counts correspond with stock sheets and have the correct part numbers allocate to them, and to

investigate reasons for discrepancies with stores personnel and inform the manager of any findings.

• Working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems - preferably SAP.


• Ability to analyse data and provide insights from data.


• Ability to manage inventory.


Desireable Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in an inventory control envoirment.


• Microsoft Office Skills.


• Knowledge of stock and related areas, must be PC literate. SAP processing/data input knowledge would be beneficial.


• Product knowledge.
