Inventory Controller

We are looking for a Inventory Controller to be based at our site in Wellingborough (NN8 6BS) This a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £26,353.3 (depending on experience). The working scheduling is predominantly a Monday - Friday working 06:00 to 14:00.

As a Inventory controller you will support the inventory team and the operations ensuring maintenance of stock integrity., 1) Stock Integrity
- Ensuring all required perpetual cycle counting activities are carried out to the required standard.
- Ensure all discrepancies are investigated and reconciled in accordance with established procedures, highlighting any areas of concern in a timely manner.

2) WMS Maintenance
- Setting up and maintaining stock records and new product articles in WMS.
- Creating new locations and pick faces as required as well as assisting with stock check/pick/dispatch queries.

3) Processes
- Adherence to all operational & site processes and procedures. Including all H&S, SOP, and WI.

Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customer.
- Good communication skills needed to investigate any customer or operational queries.

Key Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy levels
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite with excel skills essential
- Strong analytical skills
- WMS experience, AS/400 Opus and SAP advantageous
- Ability to effectively deal with and resolve problems
