Inventory Controller

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic inventory controller, who is driven to making a difference. This role will be within the Commercial Services department at University Hospitals Dorset. If you enjoy working as part of a team and have a caring attitude, then this is the job for you! You will be:

• Responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination, delivery and deployment of inventory management services.
• Ideally have experience of working within a purchasing, supply chain or inventory management environment or able to demonstrate transferable skills.
• Good level of keyboard skills and MS applications.
Main Duties of the Job:
• Ordering, receipting, verifying and unpacking of products/goods.
• Issuing and distributing products/goods to internal areas to support patient care.
• Analysing supply chain data to ensure uninterrupted availability of stock.
• Reviewing supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
