Full Job Description

The Inventory and Maintenance Manager is a pivotal position on the team. They will need to demonstrate excellent communication
skills with all types of people providing the highest level of service offering to our customers. They will also need to ensure
performance levels are met with external contractors and the inventory team are performing to a high standard of quality
reporting.

    Some examples of what you will be doing:

  • Deliver outstanding service to internal and external customers.

  • Conduct regular meetings and 121s

  • Carry out effective time and diary management.

  • Ensure inventory team are producing accurate and quality check in/out reports and inspection reports.

  • Be responsible for ensuring key movements are all logged and recorded accurately

  • Management of internal maintenance operatives ensuring they are following health and safety guidelines and

  • also maximize profit
  • Proactively and thoroughly update all systems to ensure smooth communication for all team members.

  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

  • Regular performance monitoring of contractors and review and monitor SLAs and time to complete jobs

  • Be the first point of escalation where jobs pass the time frame required to complete works.

  • Onbarding of new contractors and work as part of larger team on procurement projects where required.,

  • Responsible for organising and maintaining all regulatory safety inspections and certificates as required.

  • Responsible for reviewing maintenance requests via our maintenance system in line with regulatory maintenance service level

  • agreements.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent telephone manner.

  • A confident self-starter.

  • Skilled applicant qualification.

  • Negotiation skills.

  • Rapport building and people skills.

  • Knowledge of relevant Lettings and Estate Agency Acts, or willingness to work towards.

  • Understanding of key health and safety requirements.
