Full Job Description

  • Lead the Inventory Management Team to deliver an efficient service, develop the team and permit a continuous improvement ethos
  • Provide the interface between Projects, Logistics, Procurement, & Engineering to create and implement an inventory management policy
  • Develop robust process of inventory reporting ft accurate and timely analysis
  • Optimise inventory levels! Process/procurement to increase stock availability and reduce costs.
  • Provide future demand and capacity planning for BAE Stores within HMNBP
  • Ensure compliance with the SHE Management System, mitigating risks and
  • Improving overall SHE performance within the team.
  • Resolve issues and customer enquiries to maintain service levels, As Inventory Manager within Warship support you will be leading the Inventory team, working with all the functions that make up Supply Chain and the wider business to ensure availability of product to support our people working on the fleet. Alongside this we are passionate about continuously looking to improve and develop what we do and how we do it, reducing waste and cost.

    Have experience in Project facing role with excellent planning and organisational skills
  • People Management experience
  • Proficient in the use of SAP
  • Understand inventory management policies & process (VMI, JIT, consignment)
  • Be component in using EXCEL for data analysis
