Are you proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, being able to handle large amounts of data?

Can you build strong stakeholder relationships, supporting adherence to an efficient inventory accounting process across a number of ships?

About the role:
The role is offered on a 10 month FTC basis, and supports the verification of stock (asset and consignment) in our retail stores. This is done through the scheduling of counts, working closely with shipboard employees and head office teams such as IT and Profit Protection. There is occasional travel to Southampton (sometimes at weekends) to visit the ships and do stock counts.
Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis - 2/3 days per week

+ Strong Excel skills with the ability to handle large amounts of data with high attention to detail
+ Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, and works well as part of a team
+ Ability to quickly pick up new systems
+ Full UK driving licence
+ Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK

What you will be doing:
+ Schedule stock counting for ships, based on the itinerary of the relevant ship
+ Process and investigate the results and review with the business as required
+ Create and process manual workbooks for ships, when needed
+ Issue recount requests when the results fail to meet required thresholds
+ Process any stock adjustments that are required when approved
+ Update the stock take tracker to reflect the status of all counts
+ Reconcile consignment stock vendor accounts
+ Look for opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
