Full Job Description

The Investment Capability Marketing (ICM) - Writer is a new role to the business, but one that is vitally important in supporting future growth expectations. As ICM Writer, you will support the team in delivering the content plan, working alongside ICM senior writers to develop and write compelling content, to be disseminated in different media (video, blogs, podcasts etc) across channels. Reporting into the ICM Lead, you will also be responsible for helping create capability messaging frameworks and work with third parties to get broader reach for our content, as well as helping the team deliver other client materials including regular reporting. About the role

  • Work as part of the ICM team to deliver the content marketing strategy that builds awareness, deepens familiarity and drives consideration of our core investment capabilities.
  • Support the channels by identifying relevant themes and writing compelling articles/content in different mediums that can be utilised across channels.
  • Work in collaboration with Channel marketing leads to deliver the strategy, positioning and campaign management and activation plans.
  • Working closely with heads of investment desks and investment specialists and investment writers to develop positioning and build core messaging frameworks.
  • Working with relevant front office and compliance teams to ensure all content is relevant and designed and complied for the correct audience type.
  • Ensure content sharing to drive efficiency across both RLAM and Group where able to.
  • Work to help deliver client reporting on monthly and quarterly basis, in addition to regulatory reporting on annual / interim basis.

    Excellent writing/editing skills - journalistic background desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the asset management industry including asset class/capabilities knowledge - Equities, Fixed Income and Multi Asset preferable.
  • Good research skills that translate into compelling stories.
  • A basic understanding of FCA regulations as they apply to content.
  • Basic knowledge of the asset management competitor landscape.
  • Good digital skills including knowledge of working on podcasts, videos and webinars.
