About the Team The Investment Services Platform Team (ISPT) plays a central role within Operations, reporting to the Global Head of Investment Services. Our team supports the Investment, Dealing, and Operations functions of Schroders Asset Management and collaborates on initiatives to implement change. We aim to enable business growth, enhance daily operations, manage risk, and simplify processes. What You'll Do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Global Operations stakeholders, aligning business goals and priorities.
  • Assess business requirements and analyse workflows to design future-state operating models.
  • Collaborate across teams and with third-party providers (e.g., BlackRock Solutions Aladdin) to optimise value from our investment platform.
  • Liaise with BRS to understand their future roadmaps and influence decisions to align with Schroders' priorities.
  • Oversee upcoming Aladdin releases, ensuring effective communication across Global Operations and smooth implementation of changes.
  • Promote best practices and consistency across operations functions and regions.
  • Participate in projects, ensuring thorough understanding and implementation of changes to the investment platform and related processes.

    Are you an experienced business analyst with a deep understanding of Asset Management Operations? We're seeking an individual who excels in key capabilities, processes, systems, and data that support post-trade operations. You will play a vital role in defining the operating model for new business requirements on our investment platform, BRS Aladdin. If you thrive in ambiguous situations and can apply structured frameworks to solve and manage problems, we want to hear from you!, Strong understanding of Asset Management Operations, specifically post-trade capabilities (confirmation, settlement, lifecycle event management, reconciliation, margin, and collateral management).
  • Familiarity with various asset classes including ETD and OTC derivatives, Loans, Private Assets, etc.
  • Experience with operational platforms and systems that support asset management.
  • Demonstrated business analysis skills, with proficiency in defining and documenting business requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities in complex environments, with the capacity to negotiate effective solutions.
  • A good technical background, able to bridge the gap between IT and business needs.
  • Understanding of the full project lifecycle, including user requirement definition and user acceptance testing.
  • Additional Skills that Will Help
  • Experience in asset management or similar organisations, particularly with operational change initiatives or direct operations roles (e.g., Reconciliations, Trade Operations, Asset Servicing, Cash Operations).
  • Familiarity with external vendors and third-party suppliers is advantageous.
  • Experience with BlackRock Aladdin or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Confidence in engaging with colleagues across investment, operations, change, and technology, with the ability to challenge and guide discussions.
