Full Job Description

The Investment Product Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Investment Product teams in both delivering reporting to meet our existing client obligations and providing materials to aide client meetings. They also play a pivotal role in providing information flow to support our client teams globally. You'll be part of a vital function helping support the wider business so we're looking for individuals who are flexible, creative and curious enough to take on a challenge. You'll build an understanding of the different operational areas within Equities and see your role evolve as the business does. About Schroders We're a global investment manager. The team The product teams supporting the wider investment teams act as a conduit between investment and client group functions with respect to promoting and managing the Equities product range, with the aim of maintaining high standards of investment performance and client servicing. The role seats in the Investment Product Support - Equities Team which is a central unit within Investment product Support, supporting the EM, Global & Thematics, Japan & Asia specialist Equity desks in London. The team provides a variety of services: client/fund reporting, data and information management, marketing material/presentations creation and update, business development and client support. What you'll do

  • Prepare client reporting on monthly, quarterly, semi & annual reporting cycles (creating reports, obtaining and manipulating data, formatting of bespoke requirements, etc.)
  • Gathering data and preparation of marketing material and PowerPoint presentations for client pitches, portfolio review meetings and conferences as required (update, compliance review, sign offs etc)
  • Ensuring core data/information in areas of responsibility is kept up to date and accurate and proactively updating systems, internal sites and databases with product specific information
  • Liaising with other internal teams globally: operation, Investment, client group etc to collate & disseminate key product/portfolio data
  • Respond to ad hoc queries from internal counterparties
  • Involvement with Equity wide strategic projects and initiatives (automation, operational efficiencies etc.)

    Minimum of A Level qualification or equivalent, A strong interest in financial markets, and the asset management industry
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong quantitative skills
  • Good IT skills essential, proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Excel & PowerPoint)
