Invigilator

Salary- £14.22 per hour

We are a large mixed secondary school which joined the United Learning group of schools in September 2019 and, supported by the expertise and guidance that has brought us, are rapidly improving outcomes for students. Ofsted graded us as a 'Good' school in October 2023 and as we continue our school improvement programme, we are looking for people who share our values and passionately believe that all children can achieve, no matter what their starting point, background or needs.

The role

We are looking for people who can demonstrate common sense, accuracy and attention to detail and strive to ensure the best possible examination experience for our students.

·To conduct examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body, and The John Roan instructions.

·To play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination/assessment process

About you

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. References will automatically be requested for all shortlisted applicants prior to interview. The successful applicant will be required to be DBS and safeguarding checks prior to taking up post.
