Required for internal Exams in November, January and February and for all Public Exams in summer (mid April - end June) Applications are invited for the post of Invigilator at The Royal Masonic School for Girls. RMS is an independent, day and boarding school with a supportive and nurturing ethos. The School provides an exceptionally favourable working environment, with keen students and stunning surroundings. We are looking to expand our current invigilation team so that we have a pool of dedicated invigilators who are well versed in how to run exams according to the rules set out by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ). Experience is not essential, as training will be provided. However, we are looking for people who can commit to possibly coming into school daily at certain times of the year; January - mid February week and between mid- April to end of June. You will need to be flexible, reliable and communicate well. During busy exam seasons, we will also be looking for you to show greater flexibility to be able to work every day if need be. Working together in a team and communicating within this team is vital for this role. You should also have the confidence to work independently. Your role as an invigilator is crucial in the smooth running of the public examinations and enabling our students to have the best possible exams experience in a calm environment. Your ability to follow the rules is also paramount.
