Full Job Description

Invoicing Administrator within head office Operations Team in Laindon, Essex.

This is a full-time office based position working Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:30.

What will I be responsible for?

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, flexible, and capable Invoicing Administrator with good attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Working within the Operations and Accounting teams, the key purpose will be ensuring all sales invoices are raised accurately and timely.

General duties include:

· Production of all sales invoices via internal operating software - varying from customer to customer.

· Build up deep knowledge of all customer invoicing requirements.

· Liaising with relevant Transport Managers and Supervisors to ensure correct and accurate entry of data.

· Ensure weekly and monthly invoicing deadlines are met.

· Maintain and communicate real time invoicing tracker to Accounts Department and Senior Leadership.

· Take responsibility to proactively investigate and manage customer queries.

· Understand and respect internal accounting deadlines.

· Ensure internal controlled documents are kept updated with changes to rates and invoicing requirements.

· Support the Operations and Accounting Departments with ad-hoc duties.

· Opportunity to be involved in Internal Audit process of our Internal Management System.

If you have previous experience in a busy environment, this could be the ideal role for you. The successful Invoicing Administrator will also need the following skills and competencies:

· Strong IT skills in MS excel, MS office and experience of using bespoke IT systems.

· Proactive, self-motivated and work on own initiative.

· Outstanding organisational skills.

· Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.

· Excellent attention to detail

· Strong interpersonal skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· Knowledge of key accounting principles and procedures

In return for your hard work as the Invoicing Administrator, you will be offered a competitive salary between £23,000 and £26,000 per annum and a range of benefits including:
