Full Job Description

15 hours week (Monday and Tuesday) There is an exciting opportunity for a part time Involvement Centre Assistant to join the team within the Bradgate Unit Involvement Centre. The Involvement Centre is a drop in resource, offering a caf, IT facilities, social support and a small programme of activities to mental health inpatients, community service users and carers. It also offers a trolley service to all the wards on the Bradgate and Bennion site, offering the opportunity for patients and staff to purchase snacks, sandwiches and toiletries from the trolley. The successful candidate will be responsible for general administration and cafe duties. This will include setting up, cashing up, stock rotation and general cleaning of the kitchen / caf area. There will also be the expectation to support the trolley service as required. Our aim is to further develop the centre to become a recovery focused resource to support both the inpatient and wider community population. Applicants need to, Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities) To assist and support with the day to day running of the Involvement Centre, including the cafe. To set up and close down the Involvement Centre and cafe, providing a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors. To support the serving of refreshments and taking of cash and card transactions. To support and show empathy and sensitivity to patients who visit from either the wards or community. To support the smallteam of volunteers to provide an efficient and professional service at all times. To carry out delegated administration activities. To provide atimely and professional refreshments service to meetings in the Bradgate / Bennion Units. As required, to deputise inthe role of taking the snack trolley around the Bradgate Unit wards.
