The Council's Economy and Regeneration Service is leading a number of key, strategic initiatives, such as increasing the availability of employment land, including the development of a new Ross-on-Wye Enterprise Park., We are seeking a dynamic an experienced Inward Investment Manager to join our Economy and Regeneration team to ensure that Herefordshire maximises opportunities to attract inward investment and promote the county as a vibrant and successful business location. As a key member of the team, reporting to the Head of Service, you will be responsible for attracting new businesses to Herefordshire and supporting the growth and development of existing companies to help deliver more high paid jobs.,

  • Proactively identify and pursue investment opportunities, both domestic and international

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential investors, businesses, and other stakeholders

  • Develop and implement effective investment promotion strategies

  • Provide tailored support to businesses considering relocation or expansion to Herefordshire

  • Represent Herefordshire at trade shows, conferences, and other events

  • Analyse market trends and prepare investment reports

  • Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working in a local government environment

  • Knowledge of the West Midlands region and its economic landscape
