Full Job Description

An accurate, confidential and supportive administration service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Public Health Wales) in order to provide a safe and efficient service providing triage information and appropriate support.

The post holder will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive high quality specialist secretarial and administrative service to the Specialist Matron , and specialist nursing teams and otherhealth professionals

The post holder will be responsible for the guidance and direction of the team dealing with appropriate day-to-day issues to oversee the smooth running of the department and providing support to the service.

The post holder will also be responsible for coordinating the Strategic Groups across the Health Board (inc. Medical Consultants/External experts from WG etc.). This may also entail coordinating whole Welsh coordination.To provide a comprehensive, high quality specialist secretarial and administrative service to the Specialist Service Managers, specialist nursing teams and other health professionals.

To co-ordinate and maintain arrangements to facilitate the Strategic Experts Groups.

To maintain the office organisation and triage calls into the Health Economy Specialist Service i.e. Infection Prevention.

Main duties of the job
