Full Job Description

Are you passionate about the delivery of quality assessments, with expert knowledge of specialist health and safety areas such as working at height and confined space. As an Internal Quality Assurance Partner at Arco Professional Safety Services you would assist with and coordinate the quality assurance of competency assessments that are delivered on behalf of accrediting Awarding Bodies. You would be pivotal in assuring continual improvement of the training quality assurance system.,

  • Ensuring that effective processes and procedures are in place and to prevent the occurrence of non conformity against Awarding Body quality requirements by conducting regular IQA activities.

  • Ensuring that the company competence management policy, procedure and arrangements are kept current and in accordance with all statutory, regulatory and customer requirements.

  • Providing support and development to those colleagues who are engaged on internal L&D programmes

  • Being a Work at Height and Confined Space Entry subject matter expert (SME) providing guidance and expert advice to internal stakeholders and clients

  • Verifying and reporting on the implementation of corrective and preventative action resulting from audit or incident investigation and ensure that actions to prevent reoccurrence are effective

  • Undertaking independent accident investigations investigation and liaise with external bodies such as the HSE and Environment Agency when required to do so

  • Assisting the Training & Competency Quality Manager to design and develop internal L&D/competency schemes by collaborating with department managers to do so.

    TAQA IQA and Assessor qualifications

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.

  • Expert knowledge and experience of work at height and confined space entry techniques

  • Good knowledge of European, British and ISO standards applicable to the delivery of learning and development

  • Good knowledge/experience of all training and site operations across the Arco Safety Services business

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
