- Implement and maintain security controls for classified information systems
- Assist in the configuration and administration of secure networks and systems
- Perform routine security assessments and vulnerability scans on classified systems
- Participate in the implementation of security policies and procedures specific to classified environments
- Assist in monitoring security events and incidents within the classified network
- Support the accreditation and certification processes for classified systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and security controls
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve security issues
- Participate in security awareness training for system users
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies relevant to classified environments
Relevant advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CEH) - Experience with security orchestration and automation tools
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and analysis
- Experience in contributing to the design and implementation of security architectures Requirements
- Experience of cybersecurity
- Experience of general IT
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security concepts
- Proficiency in using and managing SIEM tools and other security platforms
- Experience in creating security procedures, run books, and reports
- Demonstrated ability to perform threat hunting and root cause analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Special Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher-level security clearance
- May be required to work non-standard hours or be on-call to address security incidents
- Must adhere to all security protocols and procedures related to working in a classified environment
- Onsite and local to the systems being supported.
