Full Job Description

You will be a team player managing the Digital Skills provision within the Richmond Business School. Here you will report to the Head of Business, Creative and Digital Technology.

You will provide line management to established and variable-hours teachers delivering accredited and non-accredited digital and creative technology provision for adults with a range of skills needs, including those with low skills, intending to progress to work or further training, and those in employment seeking career progression.

You will work as part of the management team to achieve high standards in teaching, learning and assessment, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

You will ensure that quality targets are achieved, and that the curriculum is delivered as efficiently as possible and is current and meets industry needs.

You will teach an agreed number of hours annually, and provide a role model of teaching excellence., Artificial Intelligence
Programming
Web Development
Data Analysis

Please note that this is a part-time role.

We are looking for an individual/s with excellent computing knowledge and an ability to reach learners at a range of levels.

Tutors work closely with Programme Managers in the designing, planning and delivering of courses which stretch and challenge our learners as well as prepare a variety of learning materials, provide guidance to learners on progression options, attend termly meetings and complete course administration.

Applicants must hold a L5 teaching qualification and have a minimum 1-2 years teaching experience. They also must have a qualification above the level they are teaching, for example if teaching at Level 3 they require a Level 4 qualification or a degree. An Assessor Qualification e.g. TAAQ or equivalent is desirable, or willingness to work towards this qualification. It is desirable to have a CISCO Academy instructor status and have experience of delivering or embedding CISCO Academy courses. Experience with teaching Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications such as Access to HE, NCFE, OCNLR
