Full Job Description

  • First line support

  • Imaging and maintenance of PCs

  • Setup, update and fault diagnosis of customer IT systems

  • General network support and troubleshooting

  • Shadowed site visits

  • Call handling: Answering customer queries directly on the phone where required and maintaining accurate records

  • Maintaining client databases with up-to-date solutions and keeping a clear record of all activities involved in the call tracking software. This is an audit-able activity and must contain up-to-date records.

  • Installation of computers and peripheral devices (e.g. printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones)

  • Explaining technical issues in a clear way to non-technical clients

  • Answering the phone in a professional manner and, if relevant passing on any information promptly

  • Self-Motivated

  • Able to commit to a 12 week training programme prior to starting the role

  • Meets the eligibility below, Living in the North East area of England.

  • Employed, self-employed, career changers, returners to work or unemployed within the last 12 months.

  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.

  • Have access to a reliable internet connection with a PC/ Laptop.

    Our Client is an IT Support Company based in Newcastle providing IT services for companies based in County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside, and Sunderland
