Full Job Description

The IT Asset & Finance Analyst will report in to the Senior IT Asset & Finance Manager and work with the IT Department to ensure the administration of the global control of Eversheds Sutherland hardware, software and licensing across Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP.,

  • Act as one of the first point of contact for all software licence compliance issues and questions.
  • Assist with any software and hardware compliance audits.
  • Ensure optimum use of all software licences.
  • Respond to requests from end users, managers, developers, and team members for specific IT Hardware or Software Asset Management information which come in primarily via email or the service management toolset.
  • Act as one of the approvers for all asset requests as per the defined hardware and software policies, communicating with the wider business as to why business cases are required and have/have not been successful
  • Assist the IT Department in handling asset related escalations.
  • Assist with the Lifecycle planning, process and management in conjunction within allocated budgets, risk and service improvement to shape the hardware and software roadmaps.
  • To populate and maintain agreed Hardware and Software Asset Management Tools , ensuring the data quality and accuracy of compliance information is maintained to a high level.
  • Produce and distribute regular software compliance reports to key personnel around the business.
  • Ensure software and hardware asset MI is available.
  • To oversee the population and maintenance of accurate hardware asset registers for all international offices globally. This is to ensure adherence to budgets and adequate stock management.
  • Concur assistance - Raising Orders and Processing invoices associated with the orders raised.
  • Financial management - Generating spend reports
  • Assisting with Procurement - Obtaining quotes from various suppliers
  • Assist with producing the forecast spend for the IT Department
  • Assisting with general asset and finance queries.
  • Utilising the snow tool to understand any shortfalls or over usage on our licencing estate.

    Implementation/Execution: good at organizing and managing multiple priorities and/or projects by using appropriate methodologies and tools.
  • Conscientious individual with exceptional attention to detail, willing to go the extra mile focused on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to engage with individuals at all levels of the business.
  • Tenacity to ensure accuracy and value of asset data at all times
