Full Job Description

Anthesis is maturing rapidly and needs a resourceful, independent person to join an emerging IT PMO function within a growing enterprise IT team. Anthesis' business analysis requirements have now developed to the stage where a dedicated resource is required to manage this maturing capability. This role will involve working with Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse and document processes, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and drive business growth. The successful candidate will:

  • Lead small/medium projects and support on larger/complex projects
  • Manage stakeholder relationships
  • Work independently to develop the business analysis capability by sharing best practice and mentoring others
  • Work with the architecture team and business stakeholders to understand, refine, and document business systems, This role will work across a wide variety of projects, but the three short / mid-term priority projects for this role are:
  • CRM: we are currently deploying Dynamics 365 as a CRM solution across the organisation, and additional ongoing business analysis capacity is required to ensure the success of this project. Data Integration Platform: our Enterprise Architects have recently redefined patterns and practices for integrating systems using an iPaaS model, and additional BA capacity is required to help business teams to understand and document their processes to enable Anthesis to integrate them more effectively. Inventory Management: a division within Anthesis has an appreciably different operating model involving inventory, and the associated business systems need to be better understood to ensure an effective integration with our core finance systems later this year. Key Requirements, Skills Knowledge & Expertise Key Requirements Options analysis:
  • Conduct options analysis, assess feasibility and operational impact, quantify potential business benefits, and contribute to business case development
  • Business analysis:
  • Identify, investigate, analyse and communicate complex business problems and opportunities
  • Work with architecture team to analyse business goals, objectives, functions and processes, using relevant information and data to support the definition of requirements
  • Help to ensure proposed solutions meet business and user needs
  • Business modelling:
  • Understand and communicate the effect (and interactions of) potential changes to business processes, systems, structures, data, and roles and responsibilities
  • Business process improvement:
  • Work with limited direction to identify opportunities to improve business performance
  • Lead the analysis, identification, design, prioritisation and implementation of process and business changes to improve business operations and services
  • Support the implementation of proposed business improvements
  • IT systems analysis:
  • Identify and analyse capabilities
  • Specify requirements, and develop models for bespoke IT solutions
  • Requirements definition:
  • Identify, analyse, challenge and validate business and user requirements
  • Work under limited supervision to co-ordinate and review the prioritisation of requirements
  • Use appropriate requirements management life cycle methods to complete tasks and outputs related to a project
  • Stakeholder engagement:
  • Communicate with stakeholders clearly and regularly, clarifying mutual needs and commitments through consultation and consideration of impacts while focusing on user and business needs
