Full Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Systems the IT Business Partner shall help drive the supply chain & data analytics, commercial & digital marketing requirements of the business functions.

Duties - IT Business Partner

  • Liaise with key stakeholders, business managers and users to understand and document business requirements across business areas affected by a change need.

  • Work with business owners and IT Business Partners & Solution Architects to develop optimal solutions.

  • Develop complete and accurate business models including process, data and organisation documentation.

  • Deliver and present a quality business requirements document for a given change need, to the Project Sponsor, the IT Leadership Team and the Planning Board.

  • Support the continuous innovation, development, governance & support of business processes and systems including the key SAP areas for agreed remit.

  • Working with the supply chain Business Partner to achieve aligned strategy between Operations & IT

  • Assisting in the development and management of a strategy which reflects and supports the overall business agenda.

  • Ensuring business partners understanding of business information systems and services and influence and collaborate in decision making processes that relate to those operational areas

  • Engaging early project opportunity discussions and provide project management and business analysis capabilities

  • Agreeing and delivering projects / enhancement requests with Solutions Architects & Business Partners

  • Responsible for ensuring business cases support project goals to enable prioritisation

  • Working with business owners from relevant business areas to understand current processes, document and prioritise requirements, ensure best practice & consistency across the portfolio

  • Identifying, planning, leading and implementing process improvement initiatives that realise the goals of the IT team & wider business

  • Designing optimal processes and best practices in Master Data & Data Management

  • Identifying opportunities to drive benefit and cost reduction from & for I.T in the Supply Chain

  • Defining and enforcing data standards and procedures

  • Ensuring the appropriate governance when utilising third parties

    Experience of delivering SAP & Information based projects

  • Strong Business Requirements gathering and Analysis Skills

  • Consumer Products Industry experience
