Full Job Description

This role involves supervising & coordinating a team of engineers, gathering hardware and software information from customers, understanding their unique requirements & challenges, to deliver an effective IT solution for them. Ensure core business applications are packaged & fully functional when used with the latest versions of Windows and Office, liaising with 3rd party vendors and investigating alternative solutions where applicable

The ideal candidate will have:

  • the ability to plan, and schedule resources, to deliver projects to individual sites
  • enterprise and industry level IT support skills and experience and be able to articulate complex technologies in simple and clear language for customers to follow.
  • substantial year's working knowledge of providing IT Customer Support at first and second line levels in complex IT desktop and networking environments.
  • proven ability as an IT Systems Administrator within a rapidly changing technological environment e.g. networking and desktop support; application configuration, and troubleshoot effectively.
  • ability to establish and maintain strong strategic relationships within the organisation as well as key Authority peers and partner organisations and to develop and enhance the IT service offering.
