We are seeking a proactive and strategic IT Director to lead our technology infrastructure, ensuring the firm operates with optimal efficiency and security. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and advance our technology landscape, driving the firm's infrastructure strategy while ensuring robust governance, user support, and network security., As IT Director, you will be responsible for:
- Infrastructure Strategy - Developing and implementing the technology infrastructure strategy, from procurement to lifecycle management, to keep our systems up-to-date and aligned with the firm's goals.
- Security and Compliance - Designing security and governance strategies to achieve and maintain relevant accreditations, providing staff training, and ensuring security through regular testing.
- Network Management - Overseeing voice and data networks to ensure reliable and secure communication channels, aiming for high network uptime and minimal downtime.
- Vendor and Budget Management - Managing vendor relationships, licensing, and budgets to meet the firm's needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Disaster Recovery and Backup - Developing disaster recovery and backup plans, executing regular drills, and keeping the business prepared for unexpected incidents.
- User Support - Ensuring responsive and effective user support, maintaining up-to-date procedures, and managing third-party support relationships.
- Change Management - Leading change management initiatives, maintaining a risk register, and ensuring compliance through policies and assessments.
- Team Leadership - Leading the Infrastructure team, fostering a high-performing culture, and ensuring employee engagement and development.

- You'll have a proven track record of developing and implementing technology and infrastructure strategy.
- The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team and project management.
- Expert knowledge in infrastructure and security.
- Excellent negotiation skills with experience in budget management and vendor performance oversight.
- Experience of ITSM, ITIL and ISO27001 is desirable
