Full Job Description

We are looking for an IT Hubs Engineering Manager to lead a new nationwide franchise model for IT Managed Service Partners (MSPs) in the SME market. This initiative aims to grow Vodafone's market share by providing localized support and exclusive Vodafone products tailored to SMEs. Each franchise will use the ConnectWise platform, offering an "IT in a Box" solution for sales, billing, and technical support. The goal is to expand to 300+ franchises in the next two years. The IT Hubs Manager will build a modern, automation-focused team based on SRE principles and a DevOps culture, fostering a strong partnership with ConnectWise and supporting Vodafone Business's strategic goals.

  • Who you are
  • You will take ownership and accountability for the ConnectWise platform, including incident and change management, design, development, testing, and configuration management.

  • You will create automation for platform management using lean engineering and SRE principles aligned with Vodafone standards.

  • You will lead the new IT Hubs engineering team with a strategy to fully insource the team.

  • You will maintain and improve infrastructure-as-code configurations, CI/CD, and automation scripts, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable cloud platforms.

  • You will promote DevSecOps tools and practices for efficient, high-quality, cost-effective technology solutions and increased business agility.

  • You will Implement best practices for site reliability engineering to ensure application availability, scalability, and performance.

  • You will continuously monitor logs and telemetry to identify and fix vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or failures.

  • You will develop a highly automated CI/CD pipeline and configuration management process to support scaled franchise onboarding with a focus on security, quality, and speed.

  • You will align DevOps operating model with IT operations to meet service standards, including service levels, resiliency, and regulatory compliance.

  • You will manage the technical relationship with ConnectWise, ensuring vendor performance aligns with contractual commitments, and collaborate with other engineering domains to support integration and end-to-end solution delivery.
