Full Job Description

We are recruiting an IT Infrastructure & Security Manager for Hertford Regional College (HRC). Reporting to the Head of IT, the role will be responsible for managing, supporting and delivering the IT Infrastructure and Business Applications across both state-of-the-art campuses in Ware and Broxbourne., Responsibilities will include the provision of IT Services, including, but not limited to, Application and Operating System Deployment, LAN, WAN, WLAN, directory services, network services, data centre services, messaging services, encryption technologies, voice services, back-ups, storage, virtualisation, Firewalls and disaster recovery., Please include a supporting statement outlining how your skills and relevant experience make you the perfect match for the role.

You will hold a Degree, HND or equivalent in a computing related discipline or be able to demonstrate relevant industry/education experience. You will have proven experience of managing a large infrastructure network, as a system administrator within a Microsoft environment, of complete Security Layer from Perimeter to Endpoints and of working with LAN technology.

This role will suit someone who is seeking senior responsibility for the smooth and effective delivery of Infrastructure and Security in this exciting educational environment.
