Full Job Description

In this position, your focus is project management and support of critical systems. You will be contact person for all MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) topics and requirements at the plant, supporting both software and IT infrastructure requirements and ensuring the availability of the infrastructure and automation connectivity within and across work centres: hardware, servers (physical, virtual) and network. What awaits you:

  • You will interact closely with both regional and global teams where necessary to support the local IT landscape and manage change in the various IT applications and infrastructure.
  • You will actively drive the continuous improvement of these systems and make sure the site interests are communicated effectively and protected where necessary.
  • You will work closely with both the Technical Process team (e.g. lab analysis systems) and the EMRA team to support and improve the critical systems related to these areas.
  • You will be aware of and monitor the system-side interfaces and create the MES analyses with the help of KPIs, if required
  • You will analyse cross-system business processes and create process descriptions where required.
  • You will deputise for the Sr. Plant IT Lead as and when required.
  • You will coordinate with the on site deskside support engineer and make sure the business users are supported effectively. This would include interaction with the global support teams.
  • You will be responsible for the implementation of training courses and documentation for users on site.
  • You will coordinate and accompany IT projects as well as playing a role in other cross plant projects and tasks where required.

    You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a comparable course of study or relevant proven experience.
  • Ideally, you have a minimum of 3 years professional experience in the above-mentioned fields.
  • You have a strong affinity for IT and are interested in developing your skills in this area.
  • You have experience and skills in project management, such as requirements management and process documentation.
  • You have a good understanding of the structure and functioning of shopfloor (L1, L2) systems and have some experience in process-related IT systems (e.g. MES, SAP,
