Full Job Description

This IT Operations Engineer role will involve working on a wide variety of infrastructure projects (Cloud Based solutions) where the successful candidate will take complete ownership from initial conception phase, through to planning, documenting, testing, and implementation. These projects can range from new location launches, new policy creations and continuing to develop and improve our current cloud solutions.

You will also be required to occasionally help with day-to-day support of the service desk, providing training and sharing insights from the projects/new releases and updates.

Through outstanding communication you'll effectively manage stakeholders, both internally and externally, and be passionate when it comes to collaborating with the wider team to support.

How will you make an impact?

  • Take ownership of escalated service desk tickets and work proactively to find a resolution

  • Administer and maintain existing corporate IT infrastructure, including Microsoft technologies including but not limited to - Entra, Autopilot, Intune, M365, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive

  • Maintain & update technical documentation for all systems (hardware and software)

  • Producing technical documentation for both projects and problem resolutions

  • Be willing to assist with mentoring responsibilities towards junior members of staffing

  • Building and supporting Cisco Meraki networks

  • Managing LAN\WAN technologies

  • Monitor and troubleshoot networking issues

    · Experience and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Intune, setting up configuration and compliance policies, including MDM and MAM polices


  • · Experience and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Entra

    · Experience and detailed knowledge of Microsoft 365 Defender

    · Experience and detailed knowledge of Cisco Meraki

    · Excellent knowledge and experience of troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and vLANs

    · Excellent knowledge of cloud-based services such as Autopilot, M365, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive

    · Good knowledge of VOIP

    · Project Management experience

    · A strong troubleshooting ability: being able to comprehensively break down problems into clear, manageable tasks is key.

    · Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and working as part of a close-knit team.

    · An ability to sometimes work relatively independently within our busy IT team.

    · Excellent communication and explanation skills with the ability to engage with varied teams on telephone and on-site. Being able to translate technical information to non-technical professionals is important.

    · Committed to improving technical knowledge, including keeping up with industry trends, new technologies and best practices
