IT Project Manager (SC Cleared)

The Project Manager initiates and manages one or more projects as part of the IT Programme. Work collaboratively with the Programme Manager, other Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, Technical Team, IT vendors and the Senior IT Leaders to ensure successful project delivery for cost, schedule, scope and benefits. As an IT Project Manager (SC Cleared) you will be responsible for:

• Initiating projects working with the IT Business Analyst and Solution Architect to complete the scope definition, business benefits case, high level requirements, IT scheme, and other articles as required.
• Providing regular updates to Communication to the Programme Manager, Portfolio Manager, and other stakeholders.
• Providing Financial data on a weekly basis to track progress of the project.
• Providing project oversight identifying gaps and facilitating effective communication channels and escalation paths for project leads, team members and stakeholders.
• Managing RFQ/SOW with individual suppliers, with support from the PMO.
• Providing visibility to the team of the documentation required to pass the quality gates and ensuring compliance with the Group IT project delivery process.
• Ensuring that projects are formally closed with all project documentation stored appropriately.
• Ensuring assigned projects manage scope following the change request process.
• Ensuring assigned projects are providing project information in Clarizen (Finance & Project Mgt application) or other appropriate systems of record).
  
  Must be capable of obtaining UK SC Clearance. i.e no known blockers to this.
• Experience or background in Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Financial management and commercial awareness.
• Vendor management and procurement expertise.
• Team management, communications skills.
• Strong Project Management methods - planning, risk and issue management, etc.
