Full Job Description

We are looking for an IT Service Risk Manager to join our growing IT and Cyber Risk team (second line).

A bit about the job:
You will be responsible for overseeing all activities associated with technology service management risk within the organisation. This role entails conducting assurance reviews against established policies, standards, and regulatory requirements specific to Aviva Group. You will ensure that technology services are delivered in a compliant, efficient, and effective manner while supporting the organisation's strategic objectives.
That includes:
Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with technology services, including IT operations, service delivery, and third-party service providers.
Develop, monitor, and challenge risk mitigation strategies in coordination with IT management and service delivery teams.
Perform regular assurance reviews to evaluate compliance with internal policies and standards, best practices, and relevant to applicable regulatory frameworks related to technology service management (such as FCA/PRA, DORA, ITIL, COBIT, etc.).
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Aviva Technology policies and standards pertaining to technology services.
Monitor metrics and reporting processes to ensure the effectiveness of risk management activities.

Proficient in IT Service Management methodology and implementation, as well as tooling.
Experience in risk or audit assessment methodologies.
Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks (e.g. CRISC, ISO 31000) is a plus.
Professional and up-to-dated certifications such as , (ITIL) IT Infrastructure Library are strongly preferred , or Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP).
Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision making.

National salary: circa £80,000, London salary: circa £95,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
