Full Job Description

You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and efficient service to all Activate Group projects and employees (across all UK sites). You will carry out varied aspects of IT administration from end user support to installing, configuring & maintaining IT equipment. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing various support requests prioritising accordingly.,

  • Providing workstation, telecoms and application support across all AGL UK based sites in a timely fashion escalating any urgent problems that require more in-depth knowledge. This will be based from Peterborough office.
  • Installing software and patches across workstations.
  • Supporting management information and reporting preparing and developing
  • To ensure that all calls are logged in a consistent manner within IT Service Desk
  • Assist with keeping asset registers up to date.
  • Help maintain company intranet platform.
  • Working towards improving efficiencies within the group by helping automate tasks.
  • To ensure all calls/requests are updated and resolved within SLA targets
  • Ensuring software compliance across the group keeping track of all licencing.
  • Maintaining and updating documentation detailing current infrastructure.

    Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Hardworking and can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Technical accreditations (A-Level or above)
  • Understanding of WAN/LAN and Wireless Networks
  • Good understanding of hardware (Workstations/Servers/Printers/Projectors)
  • Solution-orientated looking to get to the bottom of an issue and use initiative
  • Flexible and ready to support after working hours.
