volunteers. We manage and protect over 9000 acres of land across more than 90 different sites and nature reserves, alongside 2 visitor centres. But we can't save nature alone. So, we work closely with local communities, businesses, organisations and individuals to protect and restore wildlife and wild spaces and create a wilder Kent for the benefit of people and the planet. What you'll be doing: This role is a perfect opportunity for an early-career or experienced IT Professional to work at an exciting wildlife charity 3 years into a period of Digital Development. IT Infrastructure underpins all of our digital ambitions, and we are looking for a positive and friendly person who is enthusiastic about IT to join the team and continue to facilitate all of the amazing work done by the Trust. You'll be involved in:

  • IT helpdesk support.
  • Systems maintenance.
  • Network management.
  • Other IT hardware set up & maintenance.
  • Assisting in the development of new processes, equipment & technology to facilitate the charity's conservation efforts.

    Strong organisation skills and able to manage multiple areas of work simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the skill to explain complex issues to a non IT audience.
  • Hands-on experience managing Microsoft tenants, and troubleshooting hardware issues - fixing minor ones yourself.
  • Knowledge of managing business firewalls and security software.
  • A degree (or equivalent experienced) in IT or a related field.
