Full Job Description

  • To be an integral part of the IT team in supporting end users of the company's software and hardware

  • Providing sales advice on products when required

  • Provide 1st/2nd/ line support on desktop infrastructure and Microsoft Servers

  • Reporting to the Manager with both verbal and written reports as required

  • Escalate issues as appropriate

  • Identifying network issues and resolving them

  • Network technologies such as LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP

  • The IT Support Technician position will be at times very demanding and fast flowing, Support clients in a timely, professional, positive and friendly manner

  • Keep IT Manager informed of incidents that arise

  • Provide sales advice on systems available

  • Work on any additional projects or tasks to achieve business goals

    Knowledge of Windows systems

  • Knowledge of basic networking principles (TCP/IP)

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to translate technical language into user friendly information for clients with varying skills

  • Good understanding and awareness of IT terminology

  • The right candidate for out IT Support Technician should be a highly motivated, pragmatic and energetic team player with a positive can-do attitude, Proven analytical and problem solving skills

  • Previous experience of working for a B2B service provider

  • Both hardware and software experience
