Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Team Leader to join the Master Data Management team within Customer Applications and Data. In this important role, you'll be responsible for the oversight of the Data Stewardship team, along with a team of Data Analysts and third-party suppliers. You'll play an important role in managing the team effectively, enabling your direct reports to thrive within their roles and impact the team in an effective way whilst supporting career progression. You'll also play a key role in managing the incident management queue within the team. Managing a high volume of incidents, you'll ensure your team of offshore contractors meet their SLAs. You'll ensure they remain committed to resolving issues and that they're escalating and working with the business to get incidents resolved. You'll manage the relationships with our third-party suppliers ensuring we maintain an effective working relationship with them, reported any inconsistencies in performance and managing any concerns. Using your resource management skills, you'll ensure the team is well equipped to cope with peaks in demand and you'll ensure our third-party suppliers are meeting expectations. You'll play a key role in building relationships with teams across the business as the Master Data Management team continues to play a key role for the business.
As the IT Team Leader, you'll demonstrate excellent organisation and flexibility with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. You'll have proven stakeholder and third-party management experience and have demonstrable experience in resource management. To be successful in this role, you'll also have:
- Experience within a leadership role with line management responsibilities.
- An understanding of major incident management processes along with incident management experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (desirable)
- Experience within a financial services or insurance environment (desirable)
