Full Job Description
- The role will be based onsite at one of our clients' offices in Blackpool
- Provide basic to intermediate level desktop installation
- Configuration, support and troubleshooting services in the Wintel environment
- Providing basic desktop support, offering simple fixes and fixing known errors
- Provide effective and efficient customer service to the customer
- Communicate with the customer keeping them informed progress to avoid escalations
- Becoming hardware and software skilled and accredited through the appropriate vendor training programmes.
An understanding of desktop/laptop technologies and windows operating systems - Desire to further your career in desktop support in a corporate setting
- Either already have, or be willing and eligible to gain SC clearance
- Customer focussed, happy to provide great service to users in a professional environment
- Adaptable and welcoming of change and communicating change to customers
- Great customer facing skills with the ability to build rapport with customers at all levels Ability to develop technical skills.
