WHAT TO EXPECT: JLR has a great opportunity to join the Engineering team at Halewood and manage the installation on new model facilities throughout the final assembly area. Being part of the Trim & Final team, you'll provide engineering support as an electrical / mechanical engineer working with both current and future car lines, to maximise production efficiencies, maintain all associated plant equipment, and be responsible for first line response to requests / issues with equipment / processes. The role will
support the implementation of all facility modifications and ensure all related documentation is updated accurately. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: - To work as part of the maintenance team to ensure a safe and efficient production performance is delivered within the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Environment framework - Analysis of facility data to investigate and improve the performance and efficiency throughout the production system. This will be carried out by integrating closely with other manufacturing departments - Provide technical expertise to team problem solving activities to accurately identify root cause, corrective, and preventative actions - To accurately investigate and present out engineering solutions to the senior management team - Support of senior management reviews to report out on facility status and projects

Technical (mechanical / electrical / software) engineering skills gained within the manufacturing industry - Detailed knowledge of automation systems (robot cells, overhead / floor conveyors, AGV's, glazing facilities, high speed cranes, fluid fill equipment and bespoke automation systems) - Experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving - Great organisational skills for working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
