is is a great opportunity to be a part of the ever growing Maintenance department at our site in Wolverhampton, the EPMC. You will be working on machinery that is being used to build Battery Packs, Electric Drive Units and other Electrification machinery. You will be part of the growing world of electric cars and helping JLR to continue to grow in this area. You will need to have a relevant Level 3 NVQ/BTEC/City and Guilds in Engineering and ideally some experience either as an apprenticeship or a skilled worker in a previous Manufacturing background which can be from any FMCG. The role will offer you the chance to gain some of the industry's best training including Siemens Training, Kuka Robotics Training and also ABB Robotics Training. You will also have the chance to visit suppliers in Germany up to 4 times a year. KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - First response to breakdowns and controls to deliver minimal down time using safe working practices - Carry out PM checks, Can-do attitude to complex problem solving and project implementation within an automated environment - Significant experience with in a manufacturing environment - Experience with CNC Machining Centres, Systems and Procedures including Conveyor systems, Gantry and auxiliary equipment, Machining Aluminium or Steel, or previous experience in a Maintenance profession in a high volume production environment - Good working knowledge of PLC's and fault finding techniques
